The complete assembly is illustrated in f ffi iig ggu uur rre ee A AA: ::1 11. Adjust the welding shield according to your individual requirements. ( ((s sse eee eef ffi iig ggu uur rre ee B BB: ::1 11– ––B BB: ::3 33) )). The Speedglas SL welding shield is designed to be used in arc welding applications where shade 8-12 is recommended. Shade number should be chosen according to table on page 185. The unit is suitable for all arc welding processes such as MMA, MIG, MAG, TIG and Plasma Arc. The Speedglas SL welding shield gives permanent protection (shade 12) against harmful UV- and IR-radiation, regardless of whether the filter is in the light or dark state or whether the autodarkening function is operational.
