System off (standby) operation When main unit turn to standby mode (including alarm and sleep function), iPod unit will automatically turn to standby mode. iPod playback detection function When iPod unit start playback (including iPod alarm function), below operation will occur: • During other function is selected, automatically change to iPod function. Caution: • During playback (including iPod alarm function) operation unit, sound from main unit will be late for 5 seconds maximum. It is recommended to use alarm function on main unit. • Unplug all iPod accessory before you insert to iPod iPod playback may become malfunction. Hint: When iPod unit is inserted, iPod unit will off if there is no operation for 8 seconds. * Invalid for iPod 3rd Generation. DK-A10 DK-A10BK Listening to a CD or MP3/WMA disc This system can play back a standard CD, CD-R/RW in the CD format and CD-R/RW with MP3 or WMA files, but cannot record on them. Some audio CD-R and CD-RW discs may not be playable due to the state of the disc or the device that was used for recording. MP3: MP3 is a form of compression.
