For portable play, open battery door located on the bottom of the iH82. Install 8 “C” batteries (match + and - polarity in diagram). 1: power: AC or batteries 4: iPod Insert iPod into dock (iPod must not be in a “skin” or case). Press the Power On/Off (play) Button on the main unit to play your iPod. 3: inserts Select the dock insert for your iPod® model from the table below and place insert in dock. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the main unit. 2. Insert 8 “C” batteries, checking that the + and – ends of the batteries match the drawing inside the battery compartment. We recommend the use of alkaline batteries for longer life. 3. Close the compartment cover.
