EUROPE: 0039•039•6088213 0039•039•6088299 INSTRUCTIONSFORUSE IN THE CAR 1• "Primo viaggio" car baby chair canbe fixed to the rear seat or to the front seat, provided it is notequipped with a passenger AIRBAG. 2• Remove the baby chair from theframe, pulling the handle on therear of the backrest. 3• Place the frame onto the seat and insert the car safety belt throughthe side catches, making sure thatit is well tight. 4• Fasten the car safety belt. 5• The baby chair must be placed inthe car facing rearwards. Grasp the baby chair and fix it tothe frame pushing with bothhands till it clicks. 6• The baby chair handlebar can beadjusted to four heights and can belowered pushing the two buttonson the sides. 7• Inside the car the handlebar must be fully lowered, as shown in thefigure. 8• Grasp again the car safety belt andpull it behind the backrest. 9• Insert the belt into the catch behind the backrest, as shown in the figure. 10• Make sure that the belt is fullytight to provide the highest security. To remove the baby chair, unfastenthe car safety belt from the rear ofthe chair, lower the handlebar to the horizontal position and detachthe baby chair from the frame, which can be left inside the car, ready for use. SAFETY BELT 11• The safety belt for the baby chair isheight-adjustable to three positions. To choose the position accordingto your baby size, unfasten thebelt pushing the red button ontothe buckle and remove the strapsfrom the rear side. 12• Fasten the safety belt overlappingthe two straps. 13• Insert them into the buckle. 14• Put the child onto the chair and adjust the belt tightness: to loosen the belt, push the buttonwith one hand and adjust thestraps with the other; to tightenthe belt, pull it toward yourself. SWING CHAIR POSITION The special frame shape enablesthe chair to swing, so that you caneven rock your baby. To fix thechair, proceed as follows: 15• Swing the handlebar behind thebackrest. 16• Turn the stabiliser feet as shown in the figure. 17• Example of use inside your house. TO ADJUST THE HOOD 18• To raise or lower the hood, pushdown on the sides with both hands and raise or lower it till it clicks. HEAD GUARDS 19• The car baby chair comes completewith head guard limiting headmovement as well as protectionsfor the safety belt. SAFETYCLEANING&MAINTENANCECLEANING&MAINTENANCE STEADY AND PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO THE SUN COULD CAUSE CHANGES IN COLOUR OF MANY MATERIALS. LIMIT EXPOSURE IF POSSIBLE. Wipe the plastic parts with a wet cloth. Do not clean the polystyrene shockproof device using solvents or similar products. 20• To wash the baby chair padding, remove the hood; 21• unfasten and remove the safetybelt from the upholstery; 22• undo the flaps fixing theupholstery from below the chair, 23• draw the upholstery upwards andwash it following the washinginstructions provided. SAFETYRULES Car baby chair for children weighing upto 13 kg -28 lbs. (0-12/14 months). The chair can only be used with approved vehicles equipped with 3-pointssafety belts with automatic wrappingsystem, complying with the EEC regulation n°16 or equivalent. It is approved for general use in vehicles and it will fit most, but not all, car seats. If in doubt, consult either the child restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
