If a child accidentally swallows the battery, consult a doctor immediately. Do not recharge, short, disassemble or heat the battery or dispose it in a fire. When throwing away or saving the battery, wrap it in tape and insulate; otherwise, the battery may give off heat, crack or start a fire. 17 LCD display 1. Disc indicator. When disk is inside it shows the indication. 2. Repeat mode indication Shows if the Repeat mode is ON (RPT). 3. Main display area Shows the indication of Display characters, Playback time, Tuning frequency, Time and other text information. 4. Radio status indicator Shows the indication of Stereo / Mono mode or indicates LOC if the option is ON. 5. RDS function indications AF: Alternative frequency PTY: Program Type TA: Traffic announcement TP: Traffic Program 18 Playback information display DVD T: 5/8 C:2/16 00:08:08 02/6 Eng O © © © © Touch the top center area of the TFT LCD when playing a disk and the playback information will appear on the TFT: 1. Indication of the disk type. 2. DVD title information: the number of titles the disk has and the number of current track (“T:5/8” - there are 8 titles in this disk and the current title is the fifth one) . 3. DVD chapter information: the number of chapters the disk has and the number of current chapter (“C:2/16” - there are 16 chapters in this disk and the current one is the second one). 4. Indication of the elapsed time of the current title. 5 DVD language information: the number of languages available and the language and its number of current playback. (|.,, ,| 2/6 ENG - there are 6 languages available for this disk and current language is ENGLISH which is the second in the list of available languages). 19 Monitor operations Open/close TFT monitor 1. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the monitor to the last viewing position. 2. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to load the monitor to the unit. TFT monitor auto open 1. Enter the GENERAL SETUP menu (please refer to HARDWARE Setup Menu chapter of this manual). 2. In TFT AUTO OPEN setting set the monitor working mode when the unit is ON and OFF: • On (when the unit is off the monitor draws down into the unit automatically, when it’s on the monitor unfurls automatically); • Off (when the unit is off the monitor draws down into the unit automatically, when it’s on the monitor unfurls by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button on the panel); • Manual (when the unit is off or on the monitor draws down or unfurls only by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button on the panel). Monitor tilt angle adjustment You can get different vision effects watching from different angles of the monitor. There are two ways to change the angle: 1) • Press BAND on the panel. • Use 5 6 buttons on the front panel, pressing them repeatedly. 2) • Use TILT buttons on the Remote Control, press A / V on the RC repeatedly. 20 Aspect ratio • Press DISP / WIDE button on the monitor or WIDE on the Remote Control repeatedly to select the aspect ratio: FULL => NORMAL => STANDBY => NORMAL => FULL. Image setting 1. Press the PIC button on the RC on the monitor to enter the picture quality setting menu. 2. Press the 7 / »buttons on the RC or the A/T button on the panel to select the setting. 3. Press the 9/: button on the RC or the -4/^ button on the panel to adjust the setting. 4. Press the PIC button on the RC to exit. Parking cable function If the PRK SW cable is connected to hand brake switch, the video view to the TFT monitor will be switched between Normal display and Caution display. Parking cable function is ceases if Parking is OFF. Please refer to PARKING. When Parking is ON the monitor will show the special screen to prevent the driver watching other content during driving. The passengers at the rear can watch normally. Monitor movement mechanism When any path blocking or obstruction for the movement of the monitor occurs, the following protection executes to prevent any damage to the loader or the monitor. After the protection executed normal operating resumed after the following action of the monitor performed by pressing the OPEN/CLOSE button or repowering the unit. If it doesn’t help please reset the unit.
