To charge, place the handset on the base unit. Please charge the batteries for about 15 hours before initial use. During charging the battery, battery icon is as shown below. This will maximise the battery life. • The batteries cannot be overcharged. * Nickel Cadmium (Ni-Cd) rechargeable batteries (AA size) are available.
