To activate either button, simply press on the areas indicated above. c Voice Activity Sensor d Earbud e Earloop The medium sized earloop and earbud are already fitted to your Jawbone at the factory. 1 Charging ' • You can charge your Jawbone headset via the wall charger, or via USB on your computer. • Place the Jawbone headset in the socket with the jawbone logo facing upward. • Charge the battery fully on first use. • Charge time 50 minutes. • 80% charge after 35 minutes. • Indicator light is RED while headset is charging / WHITE when headset is fully charged. • Indicator light flashes RED when battery is low. (continue to page 2) 2 Pairing • Your Jawbone headset automatically goes into pairing mode the first time you turn it on. • In pairing mode, the indicator light flashes RED + WHITE TO pair for the first time • Turn on your phone's Bluetooth setting • Press the Talk Button for 2 seconds • 'Search for New Devices' • Select Jawbone • Enter passcode '0000' • Jawbone comes with 4 earloops and 3 earbuds for maximum comfort. • To wear Jawbone, tuck earloop behind your ear, place earbud snugly inside your ear, and rest Voice Activity Sensor on your cheek as shown in the diagram. 4 Talk • Turn the Jawbone headset on or off by pressing the Talk Button for 2 seconds. • To answer a call , press the Talk Buttons ■^átílílSÉS^Sl • To reject a call , press the NoiseAssassin Button while phone is ringing. 5 More • To initiate voice dialing , press the NoiseAssassin Button for 2 seconds in standby mode and then speak a command. • To redial last number called, triple-tap the NoiseAssassin Button. NOISEASSASSIN BUTTON TALK BUTTON to manually put your headset in pairing mode • Hold down the Talk Button and NoiseAssassin Button for 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes RED + WHITE. (Headset must be powered off to initiate). • Pairing mode lasts for 3 minutes, or until successful pairing. • Jawbone's patented NoiseAssassin requires contact with your face. Make sure the Voice Activity Sensor (VAS) is touching your face. If the VAS doesn't touch your cheek, the headset will not work properly. • To change the volume during a call, press the NoiseAssassin Button to cycle through the multiple volume levels. • To turn NoiseAssassin off or back on during a call, press the NoiseAssassin Button for 2 seconds. note NoiseAssassin is always on by default. • To turn off the led , press the Talk Button 5 times while in standby mode. • To ANSWER AN INCOMING CALL WHILE ON A CALL, press the Talk Button.
