Removing the rechargeable batteries Only remove the rechargeable batteries when you discard the appliance. The appliance does not work anymore after you have cut the wires that connect the rechargeable batteries to the motor unit. Only remove the rechargeable batteries when they are completely empty to avoid a hazard. Never let the batteries come into contact with metal. 1 2 3 Remove the blender bar or chopper coupling unit from the motor unit. Let the appliance run until it stops. , Press the unlock button and fix it in this position with adhesive tape. Put the top part with the rechargeable batteries attached to it in a bowl with one litre of water and 1 teaspoon of salt and leave it in this bowl for 24 hours. Take the top part with the rechargeable batteries attached to it from the bowl and cut the wires that connect the batteries to the motor unit.
