I PRECAUTIONS 110-120V 220-240V o- UIll AC VOLTAGE Before connecting the AC cord (LH model only) lq LH model has an AC VOLTAGE selector. Make sure that the AC VOLTAGE selector is set to the position matching your local voltage. If it is not correctly set, change it with a screwdriver or a similar tool, Either 11 O-120V or 220-240V can be selected. On placement . Do not use the unit in places which are extremely hot, cold, dusty or humid. In particular, do not keep the unit: . in a high humidity area such as a bathroom . near a heater . in an area exposed to direct sunlight (e. g., inside a parked car, please be careful because it may become extremely hot) l Place the unit on a flat, even surface. On safety When disconnecting the AC cord, grip the plug and not the cord itself. Pulling the cord may damage it and thus be hazardous. . When you are not going to use the unit for a long period of time, disconnect the AC cord. If the cord is plugged in a small amount of current keeps on flowing to the unit even if the power switch is not on. . Condensation Cuando se calienta una habitation en tiempo invernal, en la superficle interior de Ias ventanas se forman pequeiias particular de agua. Este fenomeno se conoce por el nombre de condensation. Dicha condensation puede produclrse tamblen dentro del aparato cuando: l Se traslada de un Iugar fr~o a otro caliente Se utiliza en una habitaci6n donde acaba de encenderse la calefaccion l Se utiliza en un Iugar excesivamente humedo l Se uhliza en un Iugar donde la unidad esta en contacto directo con corrlentes de awe frfo (cerca de acondicionadores de aire, etc.). Puede suceder que el aparato no funcione correctamente cuando se acumula humedad dentro del mismo. En dlcho case, dejelo sin usar durante 1 0 2 horas antes de encenderlo, o caliente la habitation gradualmente y deje seca,r la unidad antes de usarla. Ante cualquier anormalld,ad, desenchufe el cable de CA y solicite la reparation del aparato solamente al personal callficado.
