Allow to cool, unplug and refill with cold water. • Never operate kettle if water level is below minimum. BEFORE USE • Remove any packaging material from the kettle. • Before connecting to a power source, make sure your mains supply voltage is the same as the one indicated on the label on the underside of this appliance. • Fill the kettle to the maximum mark (without the base unit). Bring to the boil and then discard the water. Repeat this procedure two more times. This removes any residues that may have remained from the manufacturing process. Remove and rinse the filter before use. HOW TO USE • With the kettle switched off, connect the plug into a suitable power outlet. Remove the kettle from the base unit before filling. Do not fill through the spout. • Remove the lid and fill through the top.
