Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw from the battery compartment, and remove the cover. 2. Battery Notes • Transmitter • Your bug works best on firm surface ( but not slippery) such as a wooden or tile floor. • Running your bug continuously for long periods of time generates high heat levels. Heat causes wear and tear on motor. To keep heat level down, cool your bug at least 10 minutes before installing fresh batteries. • If the bug's antennae flashes but does not respond to the transmitter, move closer to the bug and try again. • If someone uses a CB nearby, it might interfere with control of the bug. If this happens, move the bug away from the CB. • You cannot operate your bug near devices with transmitters that use the same frequency as your bug ( 27 or 49 MHz) . Check the box to see which frequency you have. • If the bug moves slowly and you have installed fresh batteries, check the wheel mechanisms for lint, thread, hair or dust.
