Notes • To change the title information, be sure to load a DVDRAM/ R/RW disc which contains the desired title. • You may not be able to change the title name, etc. of a DVD-R disc, if the disc is in a certain condition such as a minimal remaining space. • You cannot set the protection of titles in DVD-R/RW discs. • By pressing the O button, you can return to the previous display. • To exit these steps, press EASY NAVI button. To change the disc number, press ADJUST button. Notes • You cannot change the disc name of a blank DVD-R disc. After recording, change the disc name. • You may not be able to change the disc name of a DVD-R disc, if the disc is in a certain condition such as a minimal remaining space. 54 Playback DVD-RW DVD-VIDEO VCD CDDVD-R Playing a DVD video disc You can also play VIDEO CDs, audio CDs or finalization processed DVD-R/RW discs in the same manner. To play recorded contents, follow the instructions on page 51. Preparation • Turn on a TV or audio system and select the corresponding input source that the recorder is connected to. • Load a disc you want to play. Playback starts. • Depending on the disc, playback starts automatically by loading the disc. • The recorder may take a short time to start playback. This occurs because the recorder is reading the data of a disc. Press . STOP To resume normal playback, press PLAY button or button. Note • Sound is muted during still mode. Note • DVD video disc provides high resolution pictures and a lot of information. Because of this, you may notice some fine picture noises on TV screen, which you have never seen with regular broadcast TV program. While the amount of noise depends on the TV you use with the recorder, you should generally reduce the sharpness adjustment on your TV when viewing DVD video discs. Playback Playing a DVD video disc (Continued) Resuming playback from the location last stopped (Resume Play) DVD-RW DVD-VIDEO VCD CDDVD-R You can resume playback from the location where you stopped at. If you press PLAY button after stopping playback, playback resumes from the location you have stopped. If you stop playback by pressing STOP button twice, the resume playback feature will be canceled.
