Cord, plug and mains socket • Check regularly that the cord and plug are not damaged and do not use the hairdryer if they are, or if it has been dropped or damaged in any other way. • If the hairdryer, cord or plug is damaged, the appliance must be inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised repair engineer, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Never try to repair the appliance yourself. • Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning. • Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. Air concentrator 7. Finger diffuser PRIOR TO FIRST USE Check that you have removed all packaging from your hairdryer. USE • To switch on the hairdryer, set the speed selector to one of the two positions above “0” and select a temperature setting using the temperature control. • If you press and hold the cool shot button, the hairdryer blows out cool air. This is useful when your hair is dry and needs to be set. • To switch off the hairdryer, set the speed selector to position “0”. The hairdryer can be hung up using the loop at the bottom of the handle. CLEANING • Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning. • Clean the hairdryer with a well-wrung damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid, if required. Wipe down with a dry cloth. • The rear filter can be detached by turning it in an anti-clockwise direction and lifting it off the hairdryer. Occasionally remove any dust or hair from the rear filter and the air intake using a brush. o Caution!
