• If the hairdryer, cord or plug is damaged, the appliance must be inspected and, if necessary, repaired by an authorised repair engineer, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Never try to repair the appliance yourself. • Remove the plug from the socket for cleaning. • Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. PRIOR TO FIRST USE Check that you have removed all packaging from your hairdryer. USE • The first time the hairdryer is used, it may give off a small amount of smoke. This is because an extra layer of protective oil on the heating element is being heated up. This is quite normal and not dangerous, and will disappear after a short period of use. 10 • To switch on the hairdryer, set the speed selector (1) to one of the two positions above 0. • The detachable air concentrator (3) provides concentrated air supply. Use the finger diffuser (4) to concentrate the air in numerous points over a wider area. • If you hold the cool shot button (2) in, the hairdryer gives out cool air. This is useful when your hair is dry and needs to be set. • To switch off the hairdryer, set the speed selector to position 0. The hairdryer can be hung up using the hanging loop (5) at the bottom of the handle. CLEANING • Remove the plug from the socket for cleaning. • Clean the hairdryer with a well-wrung damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid, if required. Wipe off with a dry cloth. • Occasionally remove any dust or hair from the air intake using a brush. Der Hersteller ist nicht fur Schaden verantwortlich, die durch den unsachgema.en Gebrauch oder die unsachgema.e Handhabung des Haartrockners verursacht werden (siehe auch die Garantiebedingungen). • Der Haartrockner darf nur an 230 V, 50 Hz angeschlossen werden. • Der Haartrockner oder das Kabel durfen nicht in Wasser oder sonstige Flussigkeiten eingetaucht werden. • Lassen Sie den eingeschalteten Haartrockner niemals unbeaufsichtigt. Kinder durfen den Haartrockner nur unter Aufsicht von Erwachsenen benutzen. • Dieser Haartrockner eignet sich nicht fur den gewerblichen Gebrauch oder den Gebrauch im Freien. • Die Luftansaugoffnung an der Ruckseite des Haartrockners darf nicht blockiert werden, wenn er in Gebrauch ist. Wenn die Ansaugoffnung blockiert ist, fuhrt dies zu einer Uberhitzung des Haartrockners. In diesem Fall unterbricht der Uberhitzungsschutz automatisch die Stromzufuhr zum Haartrockner.
