How To Use How To Use No matter what style you ultimately achieve with this dryer and a brush (your hairdresser may recommend a particular one), the first step is to remove most of the moisture from your hair. Start by blotting hair dry with a towel (rubbing creates tangles). BEGIN TO SHAPE With a wide-tooth comb, start at the nape of your neck and comb out small sections of hair at a time. Put the dryer on HIGH air speed and HIGH heat, and rotate nozzle quickly all over head, fluffing up hair with fingers. Starting at nape of neck and moving up, brush hair from scalp out to the ends, always following movement of brush with dryer (keep dryer 8 inches from scalp). Then quickly do the same thing, starting from the front and sides of head down to the nape, brushing in the direction of your hair from scalp out to the ends. Hair should now be damp and ready for styling. Adjust air speed and heat setting and you’re ready to style. The air filter should be cleaned regularly, since a dirty or clogged filter will impair the efficiency of the dryer. 3. To clean air filter, make sure dryer is turned off and plug is pulled out of outlet. Use soft bristle brush or damp cloth to remove any particles that are lodged in the air grille top and bottom. STORAGE: When not in use, unplug the unit. Allow it to cool, and store out of reach of children in a safe, dry location. Never wrap the cord around the appliance, as this will cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Handle cord carefully, and avoid jerking, twisting, or straining it, especially at plug connections.
