Danger can arise even when the air styier is switched off, which is why the plug must be pulled out of the socket after it has been used and before it is cleaned. The installation in the electrical circuit of the house of a short circuit protection device with a nominal trigger current of not more than 30mA will provide additional protection. Please consult your local electrician. • Never pull the plug out of the socket by tugging on the lead! • Do not direct aerosols or water sprays into this air styier. • Ensure that this air styier does not get wet (water splashing, etc.) and do not use it with wet hands. If you put this air styier down whilst drying hair, always switch it off as a precaution. • The air outlet grill will inevitably become hot during use. Do not allow the flex to come into contact with the air outlet during use. • Please check the flex for damage form time to time! In the event of any necessary repair, including replacement of the main lead, this air styier should be sent to the specialist retailer (since the use of special tools is necessary) from whom this air styier was acquired. • Children do not realize the dangers arising from improper use of electrical appliances. Therefore, children should not be allowed to use this air styier without supervision. Please read these operating instructions carefully and explain all precautions to your children. • The air inlet and outlet openings should never be obstructed. If, however, the airflow is inadvertedly obstructed during use, the built-in thermal safety cutout will automatically switch off the air styier. The styier will switch on again automatically after cooling down for a few minutes. • Always unplug your air styier after use and before cleaning it! • The safety grill fitted in the air inlet opening prevents hair from being drawn in. To remove an attachment: Simply depress the Release Button and pull the attachment out from the front adapter. USING THE ATTACHMENTS The styling nozzle • To dry your hair quickly we recommend switching the Hot Air Curler first on setting '2' and then, after a while, on the lowest setting '1', With the styling nozzle you can direct the flow of air to style you hair as you wish. • Allow your hair to cool down first before combing it, so that the style stays in shape. The volumising comb For more volume: • Comb out your hair well. Loosen the hair at the routs by combing through the hair thoroughly from the roots to the ends with the volumising comb. • Divide your hair into small strands to make combing easier. The hot air is then directed at the roots to lift the hair and create volume. Your hair will gain more body and more volume. For straight hair: • Combyourhairwiththevolumisingcombfromtoptobottom.
