Ask your installer for advice. • The On/Off switch must be in the “0” position when pluggging it in or unplugging it. • WARNING: Do not use the appliance close to water containned in baths, basins and the like. • NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID. • WARNING: Do not use the appliance near water. • WARNING: Do not use this appliance close to batths, showers, wash basins or other receptacles that contain water. • When the dryer is used in a bathroom always unplug it after use even if it is switched off, as water presents a serious hazzard. • Do not handle the appliance if your hands or feet are wet, or if you are barefoot. • Never use hair lacquer or spray products while the appliancce is still operating. • Do not operate the appliance with the cable still coiled. • Do not allow the dryer to hang by its electrical cable. • Do not leave the hairdryer operating unattended, especially near children or the disabled. • This appliance must not be used by persons (including childdren) with physical, sensory or mental impairments unless they have been instructed in its correct use by a responsible adult. • Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. • Make sure that the air inlets and/or outlets never become partially or fully covered while the appliance is operating. • Never unplug it by tugging on the mains cable. • Before cleaning it, make sure that the appliance is unplugged and cold. • Do not switch the appliance on if the cable or plug are dammaged or if you suspect that the appliance is not working correctly • The cable must not be replaced by the user. Cable repairs and replacements must be carried out exclusively by an Authorised Technical Service Centre. ANTI-OVERHEATING SAFETY DEVICE The hairdryer is equipped with an automatic cut-out devicce that disconnects it if the air intake becomes accidentally blocked. Remove the cause of the blockage and the appliancce will be ready to use again after a short while. USE A practical hanging ring allows the appliance to be hung on the wall for easier storage. As an optional accessory, the dryer has an air concentrator that allows the air flow to be directed over a specific area. Use switches (1) and (2) to select the desired speed and power, Figures 1 and 2. The COLD AIR (4) setting lowers the temperature considerrably, figure 3, allowing rapid cooling after setting your hair. Releasing the temperature button sets the hairdryer back to its original position. IONIZER (Mod. SC8348) This hairdryer is equipped with a negative ion generator. Switching on the ionizer. Press button (8) and the indicator lamp (9) will light. Pressing the button again will switch this function off. Figure 4.
