(P107) The recording date can be printed by selecting [DPOF PICTURE] to start printing. • Do not disconnect the USB connection cable when the cable disconnection warning icon [ ] is indicated. • When the [.] indication lights in orange during printing, the camera is receiving an error message from the printer. Make sure there is no malfunction on the printer after finishing printing. • If the printer does not support TIFF printing, the JPEG picture created when the quality is set to [TIFF] is printed. • If the printer does not support RAW printing, the JPEG picture created when the quality is set to [RAW] is printed. • If no JPEG picture is created when the quality is set to [RAW] or [TIFF] , printing may not be possible. • In DPOF print, if the total number of prints or the number of printed pictures is high, pictures may be printed several times. (The indication of the remaining number of prints is different from the setting, however, this is not a malfunction.) • The setting on the printer may have priority over the setting on the camera in the date print. Also check the date print setting on the printer. • If the printer does not support date printing, the date cannot be printed on the picture. .Layout printing • When printing a picture several times on 1 sheet of paper For example, if you want to print a picture 4 times on 1 sheet of paper, set [PAGE LAYOUT] to [ ] and then set the number of prints to 4 for the picture on [NUM. You can avoid jitter (camera shake) when using a tripod. 1 Connect the remote shutter to the [REMOTE] socket on the camera firmly. • You cannot operate the camera with the remote shutter in the following cases. – When the power save mode is canceled – When you determine the part to be trimmed (P111) – When you determine the aspect ration conversion (P113) REMOTE DC IN 8.4V AV OUT/ DIGITAL 2Focus on the subject and take a picture. • 1: Press the shutter button halfway to focus. • 2: Press the shutter button fully to take the picture. 125 VQT0R81 Others Using the MC Protector/ND Filter The MC protector (DMW-LMC55; optional) is a transparent filter which affects neither the colors nor the amount of light, so it can always be used to protect the camera’s lens. The ND filter (DMW-LND55; optional) reduces the amount of light to approximately 1/8th (equal to adjusting the aperture value 3 increments) without affecting the color balance. 1 Remove the lens cap. 2 Attach the MC protector 1 or the ND filter 2. • You cannot attach the MC protector and the ND filter at the same time. • Do not hold the MC protector/ ND filter too tightly. • When taking pictures with the flash using the MC protector or ND filter, vignetting effect may occur. • If the MC protector/ND filter are dropped, they may be destroyed. Be careful not to drop them when attaching them to the camera. • You can attach the lens hood when the MC Protector and ND Filter are attached. • Detach the MC Protector and ND filter before attaching the conversion lens. •MCu“Multi-coated” NDu“Neutral Density” 126 VQT0R81 Others Screen Display 12 34 5678 9 10 11 32 30 318 2933 14 13 36 35 34 6 33 2 32 15 31 3, 26 30 29 28 7 27 26 12 13 14 15 16 17 202124 11, 23, 251 22 17 19, 2422 18 23 ISO 100 2119 1/25F2.8 5 ISO100 MF25 BACKLIGHT PROGRAM SHIFT .In recording 1 Recording mode 2 Flash mode (P49) 3Burst (P57) : Audio recording (P69, 87) 4 Conversion lens (P95) 5 Continuous AF (P90) 6 White balance (P82) 7 ISO sensitivity (P84) 8 Focus (P37) 9 Picture size (P85) 10 Quality (P86) In Motion picture mode (P69) / / / : Jitter alert (P39) 11 Battery indication (P13) 12 Color effect (P91) 13 Picture/Time rema...
