Changing settings l To change a time setting before or after starting the oven, touch BAKE TIME, touch number pads for new time setting, then touch START. l To change a temperature setting before or after starting the oven, touch TEMP RESET, touch number pad for new temperature setting, then touch START l Microwave power can be added to BAKE TIME by touching COOK POWER, the new power level, then START. (See “Combination cooking, page 23:‘) “P-O” will show on the Display when COOK POWER is touched. l If probe is plugged in during Preheat, the Display will show “Prob” for 2 seconds, then “Errl’ “Err” will stay on the Display until probe is removed Remove probe. Close door. The Display will return to the previous display setting. Touch START. Using BROIL TIME The BROIL TIME cycle automatically cooks food Items at 450 F in convection cooking. This cycle can be set up to 199 minutes, 99 seconds of cooking time. No other cooking cycle can be used with Broil Time. This cycle requires preheating before the food is placed in the oven. The preheating time will be approximately 15-20 minutes. NOTE: Oven must be preheated before broiling. Always place food directly on the lower oven rack when broiling. A utensil is not required. NOTE: Some smoke coming from the vent at the back of the oven is normal when broiling. DO THIS... THIS HAPPENS... The CONV Indicator Light will come on and the Display will show “0OO:OO;’ 1. If food needs more cooking time, add before broil time is finished. This prevents the oven from going into another PREHEAT cycle. When the Broil Time cycle ends,“End” will show on the Display and 4 beeps will sound. (You can stop the beeping by opening the door or by touching CANCEL.) “End” will remain on the Display and a beep will sound every 60 seconds (to remind you that food is left in the oven) until the door is opened or CANCEL is touched. The display will then show the time of day. The fan will continue to run until internal oven parts have started to cool. Using ROAST TIME/COMBO The ROAST TIME/COMBO cycle can be programmed up to 199 minutes, 99 seconds of combination cooking time. This cycle will cook at 350 F unless another cooking temperature has been selected. Once the cooking temperature has been reached, the oven maintains that temperature while it adds a 10% or selected microwave Cook Power. ROAST TIME/COMBO can be used with QUICK DEFROST and KEEP WARM. When using the Temperature Probe in ROAST TIME/COMBO, the PROBE TEMP replaces the cooking time. The microwave Cook Cycle may be set to either precede or follow ROAST TIME/COMBO, if desired. The oven does not automatically preheat in this cycle. If preheat is desired, touch ROAST TIME/COMBO twice, the desired cooking time, then START.
