With your new Philips Ladyshave you can quickly, easily and comfortably remove unwanted hair from dry or wet skin. . The Ladyshave can be operated on batteries. Important . Do not use warmer water than shower temperature 35.C Preparing the appliance use The Ladyshave runs on two R6 AA 1.5 volt batteries. We strongly advise you to use Philips LR6 PowerLife batteries.They supply sufficient energy for approx. 45 minutes of shaving. 1 2 3 Make sure that your hands and the appliance are dry when you insert the batteries. Pull the upper part of the Ladyshave off the lower part. Insert the batteries into the battery compartment. Make sure you place the batteries in accordance with the + and - indications. 4 Reattach the lower part of the appliance to the upper part. C C ENGLISH . To avoid damage due to battery leakage: B Do not expose the Ladyshave to direct sunlight. B Do not expose the appliance to temperatures higher than 35cC. Brush the shaving foil. Remove the cutter block. Gently shake the Ladyshave to remove hairs from the hair chamber. Brush the hair chamber. Reassemble the appliance and put the protection cap on the appliance to store it. The cap fits with a click. Clean the Ladyshave ever y time you have used it. Do not use any corrosive detergents, scouring pads or cloths, petrol, acetone etc. to clean the appliance. 1 Switch the appliance off. 2 Remove the shaving foil. If you use the Ladyshave twice a week or more, we advise you to replace the shaving foil and cutter block ever y one to two years. . The shaving foil may only be replaced with an original Philips shaving foil (type HP2910). . The cutter block may only be replaced with an original Philips cutter block (type HP2911). The environment Do not throw batteries away with the normal household waste, but hand them in at an official collection point.You can also take the batteries to a Philips Ser vice Centre, which will dispose of them in an environmentally safe way.
