Use only grounded electrical outlets when plugging in your computer. These outlets should be easily accessible at all times. When connecting a power cord to a grounded electrical outlet, ensure that nothing rests on the power cord. To reduce the risk of electrical shock and damage to the computer, BEFORE REMOVING THE COVER always ensure the following: x. The computer is turned off. x. The computer power cord is unplugged. x. The modem line is disconnected from the telephone jack. x. All network cables are disconnected. x.
