Filling the tank with water 1 11Pull the tank straight out in a slightly upward direction, while pressing buttons on both sides of the tank. 2 22Open the plug of the tank and soak the felt part inside of the cap (about 5-6 seconds). • The hair straightener may have difficulty releasing steam if the felt is dry. In this case, thoroughly soak the felt (approximately 10 minutes) before use. 3 33Fill the tank with water, and then securely attach the plug. • Use only tap water. (Use of other types of water may damage the hair straightener.) • Be sure not to let dirt get between the plug and tank. (Dirt may cause water leakage.) Wipe off excess water before attaching the tank.
