Put a CD into the CD compartment and close the CD door. 3. The digital CD LED display will show the total number of tracks after a few second. Play/pause mode • Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start play, the digital CD LED display will show the first track. • Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause at any track when playing, track number on the CD digital LED display flashed. • To stop the CD, press the STOP button. Skip and search mode • Press the NEXT button once to skip to the next track. Keep pressing to search for a particular at high speed forward. Release the button to resume normal play. • Press the BACK button once to skip back to previous track. Keep pressing to search for a particular point at high speed backward. Release the button resume normal play. Programming CD tracks 1. Power on the unit and insert the CD. 2. Select the FUNCTION switch to CD/MP3 position. 3. Make sure there is no playing. 4. Press the PROG. Button once. 5. Press Skip/Search Forward or Back to display the track number you want. 6. Press the PROG. Button once to select the next track. The previous track is now saved. 7. Repeat these steps until all the tracks you want are stored. You can select a track more than once. 8. Press the Play/Pause Button. The first programmed track of your selection starts playing. 9. After all the programmed tracks have been played, the CD player stops automatically. 6 10. To cancel your memorised program, press the Stop Button and the Open Button to open the CD lid. Repeat mode • Press the REPEAT button once for single track repeat playing. • Press twice for all track repeat playing. • To cancel repeat play, press REPEAT button. To repeat a programmed selection 1. Press Play/Pause Button to play your first selected track. 2. Press the Repeat Button once to repeat a particular track once and the Repeat indicator flashes. 3. The programmed track will play continuously until you press the Stop Button, or press the Repeat Button once more. 4. Pressing the Repeat Button twice your complete selection of programmed tracks will repeat. 5. The programmed tracks will play continuously until you press the Stop Button, or press the Repeat Button more time. To turn off the CD player Set FUNCTION switch to TAPE position. For MP3 CD-additional features MP3 CD-ROM disc play 1. Press the CD Door button to open the disc compartment, and insert a CD. 2. Close the disc compartment. 3. If you have a CD in MP3 format with multiple directories (e.g. 15) and 165 songs, LCD display will show: 4. Press the Play/Pause button. Disc play will begin from the start of the first track of the disc. 5. At end of disc, the unit will stop playing. 6. Press the power button to switch the unit OFF. NOTE: When playing MP3 CD, unit takes more than usual time to read the MP3 CD and arrange album/directories. Skip mode • By quick pressing of reverse Skip track button - One song backwards. • By quick pressing of forward Skip track button - One song forward. • By pressing and holding for 1 second of forward or reverse Skip track buttons - one folder/Album forward or backward (only for MP3 CD-ROM with multiple Albums). 7 Song/file direct key in Using Keypad on Remote Control - key in your desired number and press Play button to listen the song. Repeat playback Use the Repeat button to listen to an entire disc, one track, or a programmed sequence repetitively. Press the Repeat button. The Repeat indicator changes with each press of the button as follows: Repeat-► Repeat folder or Album (only for MP3 CD-ROM with multiple Albums) -► Repeat all -► blank display. Manual search within song During playback, by pressing and holding the MP3 FF button will cause the player to scan through the current track faster. At the end of a track the player will skip to the next track and continue scanning, depend on disc recording, some disc can't play. Clock function To set clock press and hold on "Clock Set" button, and press the "Hour" and "Min" button to set the time you want. Alarm setting To set alarm, press and hold "Alarm Set" button, and press the "Hour" and "Min" button to set the alarm time you want. Alarm ON/OFF Set alarm ON, press "Alarm ON / OFF" once. The alarm is on and alarm symbol (( ))) will show on LCD display. If you switch off the alarm function, just press the "Alarm ON / OFF" button one more time. To Turn Off the Alarm Buzzer Anytime, if alarm buzzer is on, just press "Alarm ON / OFF" once, the alarm buzzer will switch off. The clock and alarm setting will not be functional on Radio mode. 8 Recording Within Recording, no volume adjustment is necessary, recording level is automatically set. Recording from radio 1. Set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO position. 2. Tune to the desired station by turning the TUNING control regulator. 3. Insert a blank cassette into cassette compartment. 4. Press the PAUSE button. 5.
