Why Wet and Dry? You can use it during shower at bathroom for achieving. The easiest way of cleaning after cutting. Why Ceramic blade? Ceramic blade providing the greatest cutting result because of its Super Sharpness. Furthermore, it is "Oil Free". You don't need to bother to Add lubricating oil before each cut and even to find the oil. USING YOUR WET n' DRY CLIPPER Preparing for use 1. Remove all packaging and keep safe until satisfied with your product. 2. Charge the hair clipper as described below. Charging the hair clipper 1. Ensure the hair clipper's On/Off switch is off by pushing the switch downwards. 2. Insert the charger lead into the bottom of the hair clipper. Alternately insert into the stand and place clipper firmly into the slot location. 3. Plug in the AC/DC charger adaptor into to a suitable mains supply and switch on. The blue charging indicator light on the clipper will illuminate. 4. For initial charging allow 15 hours. The blue indicator light will light up showing proper charging occur. After that, you only need to recharge for 7 hour each time when the battery is empty. Unplug the AC/DC charge adapter from the mains and remove the lead from the unit, or the stand. Note: Do not charge for longer than the recommended time. The hair Clipper will operate for approximately 35 mins when fully charged. Recharging after each use is not needed if the 35 mins working period has not been fully used. Overcharging will reduce the working life of the rechargeable batteries. Occasionally let the battery run down completely before recharging, to maintain its life period. Good practice is to recharge the unit occasionally, not daily. IMPORTANT: Before initial use, oil blades by adding 3 drops of oil. CAUTION: Only use the clipper in the bathroom/shower when the unit is 3 Vt-13 5 9.qxd 11.05.04 11:44 Page 6 charged. NEVER use the clipper in the bathroom with the charger adaptor connected. Never use the clippers in the bath, the wet and dry clipper is designed for use in the shower. After using the unit in the shower or on wet hair, shake off excess water and ensure the clipper body is fully dry before recharging. IMPORTANT: Check there are no water droplets in the clipper socket recess before recharging. Mains Operation When the batteries are run down it is possible to use this appliance from the mains via the charge adaptor. CAUTION: NEVER use the charge adaptor in the bathroom or near any source of water. Insert charger lead into the bottom of the clipper. Allow 5 minutes before continuing to use. Instructions for Hair Cutting 1. Place a towel around the neck and shoulders of the person having the haircut. 2. Seat the person so their head is approximately at your eye level. This allows ease of visibility while cutting and a relaxed hold on the unit. CAUTION: When charged the clipper can be used on wet hair in the shower. Do not use in the bath and never fully immerse the clipper in the water. NEVER allow water to come into contact with the charging stand, plug, charge adaptor or lead. 3. Before cutting always first comb the hair so it is tangle free and as it is naturally worn (direction of growth). 4. If desired, select a cutting comb.
