Move the clipper slowly through the hair, leaving the hair on top of the head uncut. - If you wish you can cut the hair at the neck and sides a second time, using a lower position (i.e. 3 or 4). - For a flat top look, cut the hair on the top of the head over a styling comb or over the fingers (fig. 29, 30) using the hair clipper without comb attachment. Also refer to section "Cutting over styling comb or fingers". - Finish the haircut by outlining the neckline and sideburns. Also refer to section "Outlining". Short cut - Comb the hair into its natural direction. - Select the desired hair length for the back and the sides of the head. - Cut the back and the sides of the head making overlapping strokes straight upwards (fig. 31). Hold the comb attachment flat against the head. Move the clipper slowly through the hair, leaving the hair on top of the head uncut. - Select the desired hair length for the top of the head. - Cut the top of the head (fig. 32). Start at the front side and work towards the crown. Hold the comb attachment flat against the head. - For outlining use the hair clipper without comb attachment. Also refer to section "Outlining". Als de opzetkam op zijn plaats is gezet, kunt u deze op 7 snijlengtes instellen. U kunt de opzetkam verschuiven wanneer u de ontgrendelknop ingedrukt houdt. Zodra u de knop los laat, wordt deze vastgezet in de gekozen stand. • Knippen met opzetkam - Stel de gewenste snijlengte in (fig. 2). Houd de ontgrendelknop ingedrukt (1) en schuif (2) hem in een van de 7 standen. Laat dan de knop los. - Steek de stekker in het stopcontact (fig. 4). - Schakel het apparaat in (fig. 5). • Knippen zonder opzetkam - Trek de opzetkam van het apparaat (fig. 3). - Steek de stekker in het stopcontact (fig. 4). - Schakel het apparaat in (fig. 5). Tips • Vooral wanneer u het apparaat gebruikt zonder de opzetkam: maak beheerste bewegingen. Raak het haar lichtjes aan met de haarknipper. • Schud (fig. 6) en/of blaas (fig. 7) regelmatig de haren van de tondeuse af. • Wanneer u het apparaat gebruikt met de opzetkam: Als er zich veel haar heeft verzameld in de opzetkam, trek dan de opzetkam van het apparaat (fig. 8) en verwijder het haar door schudden (fig. 9) en/of blazen (fig. 10). • Als de snelheid van het knippen vermindert, kan het nodig zijn de tondeuse te verwijderen en schoon te maken. Zie ook het gedeelte: "Schoonmaken: na elk gebruik". • Schakel het apparaat altijd uit na gebruik. Wij raden u aan meteen na gebruik de tondeuse schoon te maken.
