Menu Analog Digital HDMI Description BRIGHTNESS o o o Adjusts the brightness of the screen. ORIGINAL RATIO o o o WIDE Switch to full screen mode according to input image signal. ORIGINAL Change the input image signal ratio to original. * This function works only if input resolution is lower than Monitor set ratio (16:9). 3D COLOR EFFECT o o o The picture quality is optimized at the 3D mode. yyDepending on the operating system or video card, require to turn on the 3D COLOR EFFECT manually. COLOR TEMP o o o PRESET Select the screen color. yyWARM: Set the screen to warm color temperature (more red). yyMEDIUM: Set the screen to medium color temperature. yyCOOL: Set the screen to cool color temperature (More blue). USER yyRED: Set your own red color levels. yyGREEN: Set your own green color levels. yyBLUE: Set your own blue color levels. CONTRAST o o o Adjusts the contrast of the screen. BLACK LEVEL (Only supported in HDMI mode) x x o You can set the offset level. If you select 'HIGH', the screen will be bright and if you select ‘LOW’, the screen will be dark. yyOffset: As the criteria for video signal, it is the darkest screen the monitor can show. LANGUAGE o o o Changes the menu language. AUTO BRIGHT o o o If this option is enabled, the sensor that detects the ambient brightness adjusts the monitor backlight or the screen brightness according to the input data to optimize the screen display. SUPER ENERGY SAVING o o o Sets the SUPER ENERGY SAVING function. FACTORY RESET o o o Returns the monitor to original factory settings. yyAnalog: D-SUB(Analog signal) input. yyDigital: DVI-D(Digital signal) input. yyHDMI: HDMI(Digital signal) input. Things you need to check before installing TriDef 3D yyBefore you install the TriDef 3D program, connect the LG 3D monitor to your PC and reboot. yyIf you are using two monitors or connecting a monitor to your laptop, set the LG 3D monitor as the main/default screen one and change the resolution to 1920*1080. yyTo run a TriDef Movie file on Windows XP, you must install Windows Media Player 11 for Windows XP. 3D Settings(Only while in 3D mode) 1 Press any button(Except the power button) on the Monitor to display the MONITOR SETUP OSD menu. 2 Press the 3D button to display the options in the OSD menu. 3 Set the options by pressing the buttons on the Monitor set. 4 Select EXIT to leave the OSD menu. (Enabled only for HDMI VIDEO TIMING) SIDE BY SIDE Left and right pictures are arranged in Side by Side layout. TOP & BOTTOM Left and right pictures are arranged in Top and Bottom layout. LINE INTERLACED Left and right pictures are arranged in line by line. OFF Turns off 3D Mode. 3D L/R CHANGE Changes which frame is shown to each eye. R-L Odd lines are Right picture and even lines are Left picture. L-R Odd lines are Left picture and even lines are Right picture. 3D 2D Converts 3D images into 2D. (Enabled only for HDMI VIDEO TIMING) OFF Displays images in 3D. ON Displays images in 2D. NOTE yy3D Mode. SIDE BY SIDE TOP & BOTTOM LINE INTERLACED yySelect the appropriate format according to the 3D input signal. yyIf the 3D option selected is incorrect, images may not be displayed properly. yyTo watch 3D images, select 3D mode.
