General Troubleshooting TURNTABLE The Unit does not operate. 1 The AC Power Cord is not well connected. 2 The ON/OFF VOLUME KNOB (11) is not turned on. There is no sound. 1 The white protective needle cover was notremoved. 2 The volume has not been turned up. The POWER LIGHT INDICATOR (6) will come on. 2 Use the CUE LEVER (5) to raise the tone arm. Move the TONE ARM (12) by hand over therecord and slowly lower it using the CUE LEVER(5). Adjust the volume to the desired level byturning the ON/OFF VOLUME KNOB (11). 3 At the end of the record, the tone arm will automatically return to its rest. The red powerlight will remain on until the unit is turned off. Use the Tone control to adjust the sound quality. Note: Save all packing materials. 2 Remove plastic safety cover from A/C plug. 3 Remove tie from A/C cord 4 Open lid and remove styrofoam shippingmaterial from turntable. 5 Remove black tie-wrap from under the tone arm. 6 Remove white protective needle cover by gentlypulling towards the front of the unit. 13 7 Using your fingers, turn the turntable suspensionscrew (4) clockwise until it is all the way down. Do not force it.
