To record from a CD, set the FUNCTION switch to CD and place a disc. To record from a radio broadcast, set the FUNCTION switch to RADIO and tune in to a station. 3 Press the lREC button of deck 1. The -PLAY button is pressed automatically. Recording starts. When recording from a CD, press the Wll PLAY/PAUSE button. Basic operation Press the following buttons. n/= sTop/EJEcT button To stop To pause 11PAUSE button Press again to resume recording. When the end of the tape is reached, the tape stops and the .REC and -PLAY buttons are released automatically. After recording Set the FUNCTION switch to TAPE/POWER@ STANDBY. If a high-pitched sound is heard during recording from AM~n Press the TUNER MODE/OSC button to select the position that gives less noise. Each time the button is pressed, the display changes as illustrated. Do not press any of the deck 2 buttons during recording. It may affect the recording sound. l If the erasure prevention tab is broken off, the l REC button cannot be depressed. Adjusting the output volume and changing the equalizer setting do not affect the recorded sound. When recording near a television, noise may be recorded. Move the unit further away from the television. To erase the recording 1 Set the FUNCTION switch to TAPE/(!)STANDBY POWER. 2 Insert a cassette into deck 1 with the side to be erased facing the cassette holder. 3 Press the l REC button to starl erasing. Para grabar de un disco compacto, ponga el selector FUNCTION en CD y coloque un disco. Para grabar de la radio, ponga el selector FUNCTION en RADIC) y sintonice una emisora. I%esione el boton lREC del deck 1. El boton aPLAY se enganchara automaticarnente. Se iniciara la grabacion. Para grabar de un disco, presione el boton a/11 PLAY/ PAUS[;. Operaci6n basica Presione Ios botones siguientes. F=g Cuando finalice la cinta, esta se parara, y Ios botones lREC y -PLAY se desengancharan automaticamente. Despues de la grabacion Ponga el selector FUNCTION en TAPE/POWE RdXSTANDBY. Si oye un sonido agudo durante la grabacion de AM + q Presione el boton TUNER MODE/OSC para seleccionar la position que menos ruido ofrezca. Cada vez que presione ei boton, la visualization cambiara como se muestra en la ilustracion. l No presione ninguno de Ios botones del dleck 2 durante la grabacicm. Esto podr~a afectar el sonido de grabacion. l Si la lengueta de protection contra el borrado esta rota, no podra presionar el boton lREC. l El ajuste del volumen y cambio de ajuste del ecualizador no afectaran el sonido grabado. l Si utiliza el aparato cerca de un televisor, puecle grabarse ruido. En este case, aleje la unidad del televisor. Para borrar la grabacion 1 2 3 Ponga el selector FUNCTION en TAPE/POWER&STANDBY. Inserte el cassette en el deck 1 con la cara que desee borrar hacia el portacassette. Para iniciar el borrado, presione el boton lREC. l Lenregistrement s’effectue sur la face qui est tournee vers Ie Iogement de cassette. l Utilisez des cassettes de type I (normal) uniquement. 1 2 3 Inserez une cassette clans la platine 1. @ Face d’enregistrement Preparez la source qui doit i$tre enregislree. Apres I’enregistrement Reglez Ie selecteur FUNCTION sur TAPE/F’0WER@!3TANDIBY. Si vous entendez un sifflement aigu pendant I’enregistrement d’une emission AM + q Appuyez sur la touche TUNER MODE/OSC pour sdectionnw la position qui reduit au mieux Ie bruit. A chaque pression, I’affichage change comme indique sur I’illustration, ~ l N’appuyez pas sur Ies touches de la platine 2 penciant I’enregistrement. Cela pourrait affecter Ie eon qui s’enregistre. l Si I’ergot de prevention d’effacement est brise, la touche lFIEC ne s’enfonce pas. l Les reglages du volume de sortie et de I’tigalisation sent saris effet sur Ie son qui s’enregistre. l Si vous effectuez I’enregistrernent pres cj’un telc$viseur, vous risquez d’enregistrer des parasites. Eloignez ciavantage I’appareil du televiseur. Pour effacer I’enregistrement 1 Mettez Ie selecteur FUNCTION sur TAP EUPOWER dX3TANDBY. 2 Inserez la cassette clans la platine 1, la face a effacer tournee vers Ie Iogement de cassett...
