Symptom Cause Correction No power. • The power cord is disconnected. • Plug the power cord securely into thewall outlet. The power is on, but the DVD/CD Receiver does not work. • No disc is inserted. • Insert a disc. (Check that the DVD or, audio CD indicator in the DVD displayis lit.) No picture. • The TV is not set to receive DVD signaloutput. • Select the appropriate video inputmode on the TV so the picture fromthe DVD/CD Receiver appears on theTV screen. • The video cable is not connected securely. • Connect the video cable into the jacks securely. • The connected TV power is turned off. • Turn on the TV. There is no sound or only a very low-level sound is heard. • The equipment connected with theaudio cable is not set to receive DVD signal output. • The audio cables are not connected securely. • Select the correct input mode of theaudio receiver so you can hear thesound from the DVD/CD Receiver. • Connect the audio cable into the jacks securely. • The power of the equipment connectedwith the audio cable is turned off. • Turn on the equipment connectedwith the audio cable. • The audio connecting cable is damaged. • Replace it with new one. The playback picture is poor. • The disc is dirty. • Clean the disc. The DVD/CD Receiver does not start playback. • No disc is inserted. • Insert a disc. (Check that the DVD, oraudio CD indicator in the DVD displayis lit.) • An unplayable disc is inserted. • Insert a playable disc. (Check thedisc type, colour system and Regionalcode.) • The disc is placed upside down. • Place the disc with the playback sidedown. • The disc is not placed within the guide. • Place the disc on the disc traycorrectly inside the guide. • The disc is dirty. • Clean the disc. • A menu is on the TV screen. • Press the SETUP button to turn off the menu screen. • The Rating level is set. • Cancel the Rating function or changethe rating level. Loud hum or noise is heard. • The disc is dirty. • Clean the disc. • The speakers and components are connected poorly. • Connect the speakers andcomponents securely. • The DVD/CD Receiver is located tooclose to the TV. • Move your TV away from the audio components. Radio stations cannot be tuned in. • The antenna is positioned or connected poorly. • Connect the antenna securely. • Adjust the antennas and connect anexternal antenna if necessary. • The signal strength of the stations is tooweak (when tuning in with automatictuning). • Tune in the station manually. • No stations have been preset or presetstations have been cleared (whentuning by scanning preset stations). • Preset the stations (page 9). The remote control does not work properly. • The remote control is not pointed at theremote sensor of the DVD/CD Receiver. • Point the remote control at the remote sensor of the DVD/CD Receiver. • The remote control is too far from the DVD/CD Receiver. • Use the remote control within about 23 ft (7 m). • There is an obstacle in the path of theremote control and the DVD/CDReceiver. • The batteries in the remote control are flat. • Remove the obstacle. • Replace the batteries with new ones. The front panel display is too dim. • Nothing is displayed on the front paneldisplay. • Press SLEEP(Dimmer) on the remotecontrol. 12 MP3 / WMA disc compatibility with this player is limited as follows: • Sampling frequency: within 8 - 48 kHz (MP3), within 22.05 - 48kHz (WMA) • Bit rate: within 8 - 320kbps (MP3), 32 - 256kbps (WMA) Support Ver : v2 , v7, v8, v9 • File extensions: “.mp3” / “.wma” • CD-ROM file format: ISO9660 • We recommend that you use Easy-CD Creator, which creates an ISO 9660 file system. • The total number of characters for file name: maximum 8 characters (excluding file extensions like mp3/wma) • They should not contain special letters such as / ? * : “ < > l etc. • The total number of files on the disc should be less than 650. • This player can not support files with such as extention s as bmp,zip. • In case of spec.out file will be skip to the next file automatically,while playing of file in order. Customers should note that permission is required in order to download MP3 / WMA files and music from the Internet. Our company has no right to grant such permission. Permission should always be sought from the copyright owner.
