Two red pilot LEDs will illuminate indicating power is being supplied to both power supplies. CHANNEL 1 POWER LED (2) Indicates power is being supplied to the channel 1 power supply. CHANNEL 2 POWER LED (3) Indicates power is being supplied to the channel 2 power supply. CHANNEL 1 STANDBY SWITCH (4) Allows channel 1 amp to be in standby or active mode. In standby mode the tubes in channel 1 remain hot, but the channel 1 amp is not active. CHANNEL 1 STANDBY LED (5) Illuminates when channel 1 is active, does not illuminate when channel 1 is in standby mode. CHANNEL 2 STANDBY SWITCH (6) Allows channel 2 amp to be in standby or active mode. In standby mode the tubes in channel 2 remain hot, but the channel 2 amp is not active. CHANNEL 2 STANDBY LED (7) Illuminates when channel 2 is active, does not illuminate when channel 2 is in standby mode. CHANNEL 1 LEVEL CONTROL (8) Controls the output level of channel 1 when in stereo; controls the output level in mono mode. Maximum output level is obtained with the level control rotated fully in a clockwise direction. CHANNEL 1 RESONANCE CONTROL (9) Used to fine tune the low frequency range of the speaker enclosure by varying the damping factor of the amplifier at low frequencies. CHANNEL 1 PRESENCE CONTROL (10) Used to fine tune the high frequency range of the speaker enclosure by varying the damping factor of the amplifier at high frequencies. CHANNEL 2 LEVEL CONTROL (11) Controls the output level of channel 2 when in stereo. Maximum output level is obtained with the level control rotated fully in a clockwise direction. CHANNEL 2 RESONANCE CONTROL (12) Used to fine tune the low frequency range of the speaker enclosure by varying the damping factor of the amplifier at low frequencies. CHANNEL 2 PRESENCE CONTROL (13) Used to fine tune the high frequency range of the speaker enclosure by varying the damping factor of the amplifier at high frequencies. REAR PANEL: CHANNEL 1 SPEAKER OUTPUTS (14) Two Vi" speaker output jacks are provided. These jacks are in parallel. The impedance switch for Channel 1 selects the total impedance plugged into the channel 1 output. * When switch (15) is switched to dual...use the numbers 16 ohm, 8 ohm, and 4 ohm to the right of the impedance switch for channel 1. * When switch (15) is switched to mono...use the numbers 8 ohm, 4 ohm, and 2 ohm to the left of the impedance switch for channel 1. MONO/DUAL SWITCH (15) Selects mono or dual (stereo) operation of the amplifier. NOTE: When in mono, use channel 1 inputs and channel 1 outputs only. Only channel 1 level, resonance, and presence controls will function. Be sure that BOTH standby switches are turned ON for mono operation. CHANNEL 1 LINE OUTPUT LEVEL (16) Controls the signal level at the line output jack. This control may be used as a balance control when slave power amp/speaker systems are driven from the line output. CHANNEL 1 LINE OUTPUT (17) The line output provides a signal with level control to drive other power amplifier/slave speaker systems. (See Line Output Level) CHANNEL 1 DIRECT OUT (18) Provides 600 ohm, transformer balanced signal to be used as “direct” patch into mixing consoles, tape recorders, etc. The signal at this point has been frequency compensated for low noise operation. CHANNEL 1 INPUTS (19) Unbalanced Vi" phone jacks are in parallel. Used to connect line level signal to the power amplifier. CHANNEL 2 SPEAKER OUTPUTS (20) Two Vi" speaker output jacks are provided. These jacks are in parallel. The impedance switch for channel 2 selects the total impedance plugged into the channel 2 output. NOTE: Not used for mono operation. CHANNEL 2 LINE OUTPUT LEVEL (21) Controls the signal level at the line output jack. This control may be used as a balance control when slave power amp/speaker systems are driven from the line output. NOTE: Not used for mono operation. CHANNEL 2 LINE OUTPUT (22) The line output provides a signal with level control to drive other power amplifier/slave speaker systems. (See Line Output Level) NOTE: Not used for mono operation. CHANNEL 2 DIRECT OUT (23) Provides 600 ohm, transformer balanced signal to be used as "direct” patch into mixing consoles, tape recorders, etc. The signal at this point has been frequency compensated for low noise operation. NOTE: Not used for mono operation. CHANNEL 2 INPUTS (24) Unbalanced Vi" phone jacks are in parallel. U...
