The LVC-1 provides Video In and Video Out sockets to connect it to any TV or monitor as well as an external video recorder, etc., that provides as personalized background for the lyrics displayed onscreen. Installation Connect the supplied ACN adaptor to the LVC-1's "DC In" socket. Connect the Video OUT socket to the composite "Video In" jack of an external monitor or TV using a coaxial 750 cable. Connect the MIDI Out port of your Roland Arranger or Keyboard to the LVC-1 's MIDI In. If you want to use a "personal video background" for your "Lyrics", connect an external composite Video Source (Camera or VCR ) to the LVC-1's Video IN jack. Note: Only the E-96, G-800, E-68, RA-800, and future models are capable of transmitting Lyrics data to the to the LV01. The MENU button is used to call up the onscreen Menu. Power on the LVC-1 using the slider switch located on the rear panel, while holding down the ENTER button. The number "1" will be displayed in the upper left corner of the screen. MemWrite; Write the current settings to one of the 4 User memories. Mode Setting: Allows you to choose the video mode: Text = Display the Lyrics on a black background. Mix = Display the Lyrics to the background supplied by the VIDEO IN signal. Mix BackColour: When the lyrics are superimposed on a video signal, use this parameter to specify the colour of the small box behind the lyrics. CharColour: This parameter specifies the text colour. HighLight: This parameter specifies the colour of the highlighted words (i.e. the ones you are supposed to sing). CharSize: Size of the characters: ALL = 6 rows, small characters SMALL = 2 rows, small characters BIG = 2 rows, big characters Chord Colour: Chord colour. HighLight Chord: Chord colour when highlighted. Version number (Ver) To display the software version number and the Color Pattern Test, power on the LVC-1 while holding down the MENU and ENTER buttons. 7 ENGLISH Owner's Manual How to modify the settings After selecting the Menu page, you can modify the displayed parameters: - Use the Up/Down cursor keys to highlight the parameter you want modify. - Use the +/- cursor keys to set the desired value for the selected parameter. The bottom row of the on-screen display contains a Test String that is an example of what the information displayed by the LVC-1 will look like. How to save your settings The LVC-1 is provided with 4 memories to store 4 different sets of settings.
