BN-100. . . .Super efficiency speaker with 180 0 magnet and aluminum diecast flame that can withstand as much as 150W input power. Also, the Voice Coil consists of alminum edge wise ribbon. • The Bass Chorus, which is a completely new feautre, is included, allowing clear and effective sounds. • The built-in 4 band active equalizer with extremely wide variable band width makes delicate tone color setting so easy as ever. • The professional oriented BYPASS Switch is provided in the Equalizer section. • Cautions • Locating the amplifier or the musical instrument near a neon or fluorescent lamp may cause noise interference. If so, move them out of the interference range. Be sure to set the volume of the amplifier to zero before pulling out the cord to protect the speaker from excessive strain. 'When connecting an musical instrument to the amplifier, be sure to connect the cord to the musical instrument first, then to the amplifier. When disconnecting, unplug the cord from the amplifier first, then from the instrument. ★This owner's manual covers the instructions for both the BN-60 and BN-100. (All the fugures use the BN-100's pictures.) • The polycarbonate corner protector can bear most frequent and hard use, ensuring an amazing stability when two cabinets are stacked. • The Chorus Out Jack is provided for setting up an amplifier, therefore expansive and spacious sound is obtainable. • The speaker contains the best tuned bass reflex enclosure. • The Line Out (XLR Connector) is extremely useful in setting up a PA system or in recording (BN-100). Avoid giving a strong shock to the amplifier or nroving it while it is operating. Do not use the amplifier in excessive heat or humidity or where it may be affected by direct sunlight or dust. Use a mild detergent to clean the amplifier. Do not use solvent such as paint thinner. Usually High is to be used, but use the Low for the guiter of extremely high output level. © Volume Knob This knob is to control the volume. Rotating it clockwise increases the volume. 4-Band Active Equalizer section (D Bass Control This is to boost or cut low range frequency characteristic. © Low Middle Control This boosts or cuts the frequency characteristic between middle low and middle range. © High Middle Control This boosts or cuts the frequency characteristic between middle and middle high range. © Treble Control This boosts or cuts high range frequency characteristic. © Equalizer Bypass Indicator This indicator lights when the Equalizer is in the Bypass mode. © Equalizer Bypass Switch Pressing this switch will turn the built-in Equalizer to the Bypass mode. Thus frequency characteristic is flat, not processed by the Equalizer. This mode is useful when an external equalizer is used. *While the Bypass Switch is being pushed on, no control on the Equalizer section works. © Chorus Rate Control This knob is to adjust the rate of the chorus effect. Turning this clockwise quickens and counterclockwise slows the rate. @ Chorus Depth Control This knob is to control the depth of the chorus effect. Rotating it clockwise deepens and counterclockwise weekens the effect. (Q) Chorus Indicator This goes on when the chorus effect is on. © Chorus Switch This is to turn the chorus effect on or off. (0) Power Indicator This goes on when the unit is turned on. © Power Switch Press this switch to turn the unit on. if there is any hum or noise, try plugging the power cord in up side down. External Amplifier To Pre-out Jack Effect Unit such as SEQ-331 To Main In Jack FS-1 Foot Switch To Chorus Foot Switch Jack To Chorus Out Jack • Rear Panel © Fuse Holder (0) Line Out • XLR Connector (only the BW-100) • 1/4" Phone Jack This can be used to connect the Line in of the other bass amplifier, PA mixer or tape deck for recording. © Speaker Out Jack This is for the built-in speaker, but .can also be used to connect to an external speaker (over 8 £2). @ External Speaker Jack By connecting an external speaker system of over 8 £2, you can have sounds from both the built-in and the external speakers. © Main In Jack An effect unit can be set up between this jack and the Pre-out. ® Pre-out Jack This can be connected to the Main In or Line In of the PA mixer or tape recorder. © Chorus Out Jack This can be connected to the Main In or Low Input Jack of an external amplifier.
