Also, the BP-1 can be used as an external pad of the Roland Octapad PAD-8. The BP-1 features the Sens Knob that controls the output voltage, therefore, can be used with almost all types of devices that have Pad Input Jacks. Using the optional Pad Holder BPH-2, two sets of the BP-1's can be set up as one, and this can be installed to a tom stand, etc. * When using the BP-1 with the DSD-2 (BOSS Compace Series), connect the BP-1 to the Trigger Input of the DSD-2, set the Sens Knob on the BP-1 to its maximum position, and hit the pad rather hard. • Please read these instructions carefully for proper operating procedures for the BOSS BP-1 NAMES AND FUNCTIONS OUTPUT JACK Connect this to the Pad Input of the RSD-10 or the drum sound module. SENS KNOB This knob can change the sensitivity of the pad. As it is rotated clockwise, even weak hitting makes sound. As it ts rotated counterclockwise, the touch sensitivity effect becomes intensive. * When the noise or vibra-tion of the surroundings prevents the BP-1 from proper operation, turn the Sens Knob down. PAD Hit this with a stick, and the connected device will be played. [ CAUTION ] No further hitting power needs to be hitted. This BP — 1 has a sensor providing a great sensitivity. An excessive hitting power can cause intermittent operation.
