The MA-4 provides two types of jacks, a stereo minx jack (Input 1) and two RCA phono jacks (Input 2). A conversion cable for converting two RCA phono plugs to a stereo mini plug is supplied, so you can use it as necessary. By using two inputs, you can simultaneously play back two kinds of stereo audio signals. The level balance should be adjusted on the devices connected to the MA-4. * Be sure that the L and R channels are connected correctly. 8 OPERATION 1. After making the connections, set the knobs as shown below. STEREO PRESENCE BASS TREBLE VOLUME OFF 2. Rotate the Volume knob counterclockwise until it clicks, and then connect the plug of the AC power cable to an AC outlet. * Once the connections have been completed, turn on power to your various devices in the order specified. By turning on devices in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction and/or damage to speakers and other devices. Sound module MA-4 3. Rotate the Volume knob slightly clockwise to turn on the power. * You may hear some sound zvhen the power is switched on, but this is normal and does not indicate a malfunction. 4. Slowly rotate the Volume knob clockwise until you achieve an appropriate volume. 5. Rotate the Stereo Presence knob to adjust the depth and spaciousness of the sound field. 6.
