The volumes of four synthesizer sections are produced according to the settings of A channel controls. When the manual footswitch is trod, the indicator lamp at the switch lights and the volumes and on-off operation are manually controlled with the controls on the guitar. The electronic footswitches used are free from pop noise caused by switching operation. * Two or more channels cannot be used at the same time. The manual control footswitch and the preset channel cannot be used at the same time either. ©REMOTE SWITCH This switch is used to turn on or off effect like echo, chorus, reverb, etc. which is connected to the remote jack on the connection panel. The remote indicator lights when effect is on. CONNECTION PANEL ©CONNECTOR "TO SYNTHESIZER" Connect the Synthesizer (GR series) to this connector. ©CONNECTOR "FROM GUITAR” Connect the Guitar Controller (GS series) to this connector. ©REMOTE JACK Connect the footswitch jack for effect like echo, chorus, reverb, etc, to this jack. CONNECTING PC-50 OPERATING PC-50 1. Make sure the power switch of the GR synthesizer is set off. Connect the input and output cords. Turn on the power switch and set the selector switch of the GS Guitar Controller at MIX or SYNTHESIZER. One of the PC-50 indicators will light. 2. Set the volujne controls of the A, B and C channels as you desire. * The guitar section volume cannot be preset by this controller. It is controlled by the guitar volume control on the Guitar Controller. 3. Select the channel you desire by treading one of the manual/preset channel select footswitches. Adjust the total volume with the master volume control on the Guitar Controller. * When using the manual control mode, control the sound of each section with the volume controls and on/off switches on the GS Guitar Controller. USING REMOTE SWITCH 1. Connect a cord from a footswitch jack or remote jack for effect like echo, chorus, etc. to the remote jack of the PC-50. 2. Check for the on/off operation by treading the remote switch. * The indicator brightness varies according to the model connected. CAUTIONS • PC-50 requires no batteries or AC power. • Two or more preset channels and manual mode can not be used at the same time. Do not depress two or more footswitches at the same time.
