Version 1.20 adds the setting of the strong WPA/WPA2 security format. It is more secure than the WEP format adopted in the past. Related changes: • The Wireless LAN screen has changed . Wireless LAN Page The settings here are necessary only when using a USB wireless LAN adaptor. Make sure to set them to the same settings as that of the Access Point. You can select the desired item by using the [DATA ENTRY] dial and the [ENTER] button. Wireless networks Calls up the access point list. Select the desired access point by using the [B]/[C] buttons and press the [G] (OK) button. SSID Determines the SSID setting. (SSID is an identification name for specifying a particular network over a wireless LAN connection.) Channel Determines the channel. Security Determines the security. • NONE • WEP • WPA-PSK (TKIP) • WPA-PSK (AES) • WPA2-PSK (TKIP) • WPA2-PSK (AES) Key Determines the key. This setting must be made when a security setting above (other than NONE) is enabled. To actually apply all settings changed in the Wireless LAN Page, press the [7 ^Ў] (SAVE) button. To cancel, press the [8 ^Ў] (CLOSE) button. •For details on how to check the version, refer to the owner’s manual. •Please check the following website for details on how to update. •Some USB wireless LAN adaptors do not support WPA.
