The monitor port, the HDMI output port, and the LAN port on your computer is not accessible when the computer is attached to the port replicator. Use the MONITOR port, the HDMI output port, or the LAN port on the port replicator for connection. 1 Shut down the computer, close the LCD screen lid, and disconnect all peripheral devices and the AC adapter. 2 Plug one end of the power cord (1) into the AC adapter (2) and the other end into an AC outlet. 3 Plug the cable connected to the AC adapter (2) into the DC IN port (3) on the port replicator.
