The G-PROTECTION function The G-PROTECTION function has been developed to provide excellent protection against sound skipping during many active uses. 1 While play is stopped, press DISPLAY until the display changes. (CD player: While play is stopped, press and hold DSPL/ MENU until the MENU screen appears. Press F or f to select “OPTION,” then press DSPL/ MENU.) 2 Flick the jog lever toward . or > to select “G-PRO,” then press the jog lever to enter the selection. Protecting your hearing (AVLS) The AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter System) function keeps the maximum volume down to protect your hearing. 1 Press DISPLAY until the display changes. (CD player: Press and hold DSPL/MENU until the MENU screen appears. Press F or f to select “OPTION,” then press DSPL/MENU.) 2 Flick the jog lever toward . or > to select “AVLS,” then press the jog lever to enter the selection.
