DO NOT OPERATE STOVE UNLESS LEGS ARE INSTALLED Unpack unit and mount adjustable legs (packed separately in plastic bag.) Level unit by screwing legs up or down as necessary. For single phase units, plug line cord into receptacle specified above. For three phase units, remove rear cover plate to expose terminal block and grounding lug. Extend 4-wire conduit (flexible or rigid) to terminals through conduit hole on rear of unit and connect as shown on wiring diagram Replace rear cover plate Before using stove for the first time, heat up elements for three to five minutes to burn off protective coating. This also hardens surface of EL24SH solid heating elements. ** CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS ** Solid heating elements of EL24SH are easily cleaned with a damp cloth after use. Clean up dirt and spills with Ajax and a Scotchbrite pad. After cleaning, rub a lew drops of cooking oil into the surface of the elements; then switch on for a few minutes to re-harden. Use Ajax and a Scotchbrite pad to keep the exterior surfaces of your short order stove free of dirt and blemishes, rubbing with the grain ot the stainless steel. Rinse and wipe dry; then polish with a soft cloth. These simple procedures will keep your short order stove clean and soarkling. A well cleaned stove will give you many years of service....
