The document is scanned into memory, then transmitted when the current operation concludes. In addition, a priority transmission will interrupt a broadcast operation between stations (i.e., when transmission to station A ends, before transmission to station B begins) or between redial attempts. 1. Load the document face down. If necessary, adjust Resolution, or Contrast. For details, see page 2.8. 2. Press Menu, then press Priority TX on the one-touch keypad. 3. Enter the number of the remote machine, then press Enter. To enter the number you can also press a one-touch button. In FAX mode, the machine answers an incoming call and immediately goes into receive mode, waiting for a fax to be sent. . If the fax machine senses a fax tone on the line, the call automatically switches over to the fax machine. To use the ANS/FAX mode, you have to attach an answering machine to the EXT socket on your fax machine (see page 1.8). . In TEL mode, automatic fax reception is turned off. You can receive a fax only by manually picking up the handset and pressing Start.
