Make sure that there is nothing obstructing the air inlet or outlet. • It may cause product damage or performance decrease. Do not spray volatile material such as insecticide onto the surface of the appliance. • As well as being harmful to humans, it may also result in electric shock, fire or problems with the product. When using the exclusive adapter, do not detach the power plug from the adapter. • This may result in electric shock. When not using the plasma ionizer for a long period of time or during a thunder/lightning storm, cut the power at the circuit breaker. • Failing to do so may result in electric shock or fire. We hope you enjoy the features of your plasma ionizer to keep your indoor air clean with optimal efficiency. Please read the user manual to get started and to make the best use of the plasma ionizer. CHECKING THE PARTS Make sure you have adapter, cleaning brush and the user manual included in your package. CONNECTING THE POWER Your plasma ionizer and the power plug may slightly look different from illustration shown above depending on your model. 1. Connect the power cable on the power port located on the bottom side of the product. 2. Arrange the power cable through the groove and make sure it is firmly secured. 3. Connect the power plug. Make sure to use the exclusive power adapter. Roof Top Ion outlet S-Plasma ion is emitted through here. Operation indicator Indicates operation status. Groove button You can turn on/off the Operation indicator and Mood lamp. Button part button Adjust the ion strength. Air filter Traps and dusts among the inducted air. button Turns the power on and off. Air inlet Air enters through here. Mood lamp Lamp turn on and off. Base stand operating your plasma ionizer You can turn the plasma ionizer on and off, adjust the ion strength and light. TURNING THE POWER ON/OFF 1. Press the button to start the operation. Operation indicator and the Mood lamp will turn on as the plasma ionizer operates. The plasma ionizer will operate in High automatically when the power turns on. 2. Press the button again to turn the power off. ADJUSTING THE ION STRENGTH 1. Press the button to adjust the ion strength. Each time you press the button, ion strength will repeat in order of Low . High. Speed of the Operating indicator will change when the ion strength changes. ADJUSTING THE LIGHTS 1. Press the button to turn off the light. Light will be adjusted as following cycle. One of Operation indicators(center) remains On Mood lamp Off Both lights ON . . . 08 cleaning your plasma ionizer For the best performance from your plasma ionizer, clean it periodically. When cleaning, make sure to unplug the unit for user’s safety. CLEANING THE EXTERIOR 1. Wipe the surface of the product with a slightly wet or dry cloth when needed. • Do not clean the product with alkaline detergent. • Do not use acid or organic solvent(kerosene, thinner, acetone, etc.) to clean the surface and do not attach any stickers. They may damage the surface of the product. CLEANING THE AIR FILTER Air filter traps dusts among the inducted air. Clean in regularly for your plasma ionizer to provide you with even more cleaner air. 1. Hold the product upside down and disconnect the power cable from the power port. 2. Clean the Air filter. Pull the Air filter in the and clean the dust with soft brush or vacuum cleaner. If dust is too heavy, then rinse it with running water and dry it in well ventilated area. 3. Insert the Air filter back in its position and reassemble the Base stand. Clean the Air filter every two weeks. The cleaning term may differ on usage and environmental condition. CAUTION cleaning your plasma ionizer CLEANING THE PIN ELECTRODE Pin electrode is where active hydrogen and oxygen ions are generated. Clean it regularly to have the optimal performance. 1. Hold the bottom part of the plasma ionizer. Rotate the Rooftop clockwise and then lift it up to open. 2. Clean the Pin electrode with the supplied cleaning brush. You can see better view of the internal parts by tilting the plasma ionizer. 3. Adjust the button part to locate in the middle of the SAMSUNG logo. If the button part is not located properly, buttons may not operate. 4. Match the position of the projection with the groove. Close the Rooftop by rotating it counter-clockwise until you hear ‘click’ sound. Clean the Pin electrode every two weeks. The cleaning term may differ on usage and environmental condition.
