Use handle. Care must be taken as burns can occur from touching spilled hot liquids. To protect against fire, electric shock or injury, do not place cord, plug, or Kettle in water or other liquid. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not remove bottom cover from base. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Repair should be done by authorized service personnel only. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or nearchildren. Kettle must be operated on a flat surface away from the edge of counter to prevent accidental tipping. To protect against electric shock, unplug from outlet when not in use, and before cleaning. To prevent burns, allow to cool before cleaning. Do not operate dry. Do not use for other than heating water. Other foodsor liquids will contaminate the interior and void the warranty. To disconnect, remove plug from outlet. Do not yank on cord as it may damage cord and eventually cause electric shock. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. If the product requires attention within the warranty period, call theappropriate toll-free number listed on the cover of this manual for information on examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment. To avoid an electrical overload, do not operate another high-wattage appliance on the same circuit . The use of an accessory attachment not approved by the manufacturermay result in fire, electric shock or injury. Do not use outdoors. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hotsurfaces. In models that contain filters: To avoid scalding, be sure the Filter is fully inserted into the Kettle Spout before plugging in the Kettle. Do notattempt to remove the Filter during the boiling cycle. Unplug and allow the Kettle to cool before removing the filter for cleaning. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a microwaveor heated oven. To avoid possible steam damage, turn spout away from walls or cabinets during use; use a pad under the Kettle to prevent damage tosurfaces. Continued inside 5. Over time, the Kettle may take longer to heat up or may not even boil, depending on your use and the hardness of the water in your area. When this happens, it’s time for descaling or removing mineral deposits. For scale, use a scale/lime remover and follow its manufacturer’s directions. 6. To remove interior mineral deposits, fill the Kettle with equal parts white vinegar and cold tap water. Do NOT exceed the MAX fill Line. Plug in the Kettle and let boil. Unplug the Kettle and allow it to stand overnight. Empty this mixture and refill will cold tap water. Plug in and boil. Empty the kettle, rinse with cold water, and empty again. You’re now ready to use as normal. 4. Limpie el exterior de la tetera y la base con un pano humedecido o con una esponja y sequela bien. Desconecte la tetera y dejela reposar con la mezcla de agua y vinagre de un dia para otro. Vacie la tetera y llenela nuevamente con agua fria. Enchufela y permita que hierva el agua. Vacia nuevamente la tetera y enjuaguela bien con agua fria para usarla normalmente. Need Help?
