Install the metal washer and friction washer on the valve. Push the valve up through the hole in the mounting surface. Install the mounting plate. Rest the valve assembly on the mounting surface. Tighten the screws. Place the handle assembly over the valve with the lever or cross in the desired off position. Hold the lever or cross steady with one hand. With the other hand, thread the escutcheon down over the mounting plate. Assemble the spout: Push the escutcheon onto the bottom of the spout (1). Fasten the retaining screws with a 5mm allen wrench (2). Push the pull rod down through the spout. Sit the spout on the countertop. Install the mounting piece mounting collar. Attach the compression Y to the bottom of the spout fitting with the enclosed 10 mm compression fitting. The metal side of the ferrule should point upwards. Tighten wrench tight. Screw the connection hoses to the Y. Attach the hoses to the valves with the enclosed 3/8“ compression fittings. Use two wrenches, as shown, to prevent the hoses from twisting. Connect the valves to the stops with 1/2“ supply lines (not included). Install the drain. Turn on the water and check all connections for leaks. 7/16” 3/4” Install the pop-up drain Remove the plunger assembly. Unscrew the drain outlet flange from the tee. Unscrew the tailpiece from the tee. Wrap the threads with two layers of Teflon tape and replace. Install the white, flexible sealing gasket to the flange. Place it in the sink outlet. From under the sink, install the black mack gasket, white friction ring and retainer nut to the flange. Do not tighten the nut against the bottom of the sink at this time. Thread the tee and tailpiece to the flange. The pivot must face the faucet. If necessary, turn the drain assembly. Tighten the retainer nut. Place the plunger assembly in the drain. Install the horizontal rod so that the end goes through the loop in the bottom of the height adjuster. Install and hand tighten the pivot ball nut. Attach the swivel connector to the end of the horizontal rod. Attach the swivel connector to the end of the vertical rod.
