4.) Repeat step 3, selecting a different track number each time until you have entered up to 20 tracks in the program memory. To confirm the program after you have entered the last track press the PROGRAM button repeatedly. When you have completed programming the desired tracks press the PLAY/ PAUSE button to begin programmed playback. The PROGRAM indicator stops flashing and remains ‘On’. Programmed Playback is also canceled by switching to Radio function or opening the CD door. Programmed Repeat Playback You may use the Programmed Playback and Repeat features together to continuously repeat a programmed sequence. First program the desired sequence according to steps 1 through 4 above. When Programmed Playback begins press the REPEAT button twice to select the Repeat All Tracks mode. The REPEAT indicator remains ‘On’ together with the PROGRAM indicator. The programmed sequence will be repeated continuously. First slide the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 selector switches to the “SET” to check the Wake Up time settings. Adjust the Wake Up times if necessary. Wake To Buzzer 1.) Slide the ALARM 1 and/or ALARM 2 selector switches on the left side panel to the “ON” position. The AL 1 and/or AL 2 indicators appear in the PM display. AL 1 AL 2 2.) Slide the Function (RADIO/CD/BUZZ) selector to the “BUZZ” position. 3.) At the selected wake up time the buzzer will sound. The buzzer alarm will continue for 90 minutes and then shut ‘Off’ automatically. Tune to the desired radio station and adjust the volume to the level you want to hear in the morning when the alarm comes on. Press the POWER button to shut the system ‘Off’. 2.) Load the desired CD, begin playback and adjust the volume to the desired level. Press the POWER button to shut the system ‘Off’. 2.) Slide the ALARM 1 and/or ALARM 2 selector switches on the left side panel to the “ON” position. The AL 1 and/or AL 2 indicators will appear in the display. 3.) At the selected wake up time the CD will begin to play. It will continue for 90 minutes, or until the end of the disc, and then shut ‘Off’ automatically. To stop the CD alarm immediately, press the STOP button or press the POWER button to turn unit ‘Off’. The Alarm will automatically repeat each day at the selected Wake Up time as long as the ALARM 1 and/or ALARM 2 selector switches are set to the “ON” position. To cancel the alarms, slide the ALARM 1 and/or ALARM 2 selector switches to the “OFF” position. The AL 1 and/or AL 2 indicators go ‘Off’. Snooze Function After the alarm turns on in the morning you can use the Snooze function to grab a few more minutes sleep before the alarm sounds again. To activate the Snooze function press the SNOOZE button on the top cabinet. The Snooze function will stop the alarm for 6 minutes and then turn the alarm ‘On’ again. The Snooze operation can be repeated several times within 90 minutes. But after 90 minutes the alarm will not turn on again. 22 CKD2300_060305.p65 22 3/6/2005, 11:04 Sleep Timer You can fall asleep to the radio or CD player and the sleep timer will shut the system off automatically after up to 90 minutes of music. Sleep To Radio or CD Player 1.) Turn the radio ‘On’, tune to the desired station, or begin playing the desired CD and adjust the volume to the desired level. Remember that the level you select for the sleep mode is the same level you will hear when the alarm turns ‘On’in the morning. 2.) Press the SLEEP button twice. The display will PM show “90”, indicating that the radio will play for AL 1 AL 2 90 minutes before shutting off automatically, and the SLEEP indicator flashes for 5 sec...
