The STEREO mode is selected. This allows you to play back sound without it passing through the digital signal processor (DSP). When this is selected, no sound will go through the center or surround speakers or the subwoofer. I? SPEAKERS B is used if you connect another set of speakers to the B terminals. “SURROUND" and "SFC” cannot be turned on if [B] is pressed. Press [A] to enjoy these modes. If the button is pressed once more, the indicator will switch off and no sound will be heard from the speakers. 3 Turn [INPUT SELECTOR] to select desired source. (Refer to the appropriate operating instructions for details.) The indicator corresponding to the selected source lights and the source is shown on the display. Once you have set the mode for a source, the mode is engaged whenever that source is selected. These modes are automatically switched to STEREO if SPEAKERS B is selected or both speakers are turned off.
