If all appear to be OK, plug the unit in again. If snow does not come out after holding the remote control button for 30 seconds, check the hose attached tothe tank to make sure there is fluid going through the hose. We are confident you will enjoymany trouble free hours with this unit. To assist with the care and use of the product we have prepared this short guide. Operation Before connecting this unit to the mains power supply for the first time you must first fill the fluid tank with snow fluid. Place the machine on a level surface and loosen the cap of the fluid tank to fill with quality unscented water based snow fluid. We recommend use of CHAUVET snow fluid as it has been specially formulated for use with CHAUVET snow machines. Plug the remote control unit into the socket at the rear of unit. The snow machine is ready to work immediately. There is no need for the unit to preheat. This snow machine has been designed to function on a mains power supply of either 120V~60Hz or230V~50Hz and has been fitted with a suitable power plug for use with your local voltage. Check the label on the unit and the power plug for the correct voltage. Always monitor fluid level as running the machine with no fluid could cause permanent damage. Maintenance & Servicing Work on internal parts should be carried out by a qualified technician. Removal of any covers is considered a breach of warranty and will not be covered under any such agreement unless authorized first by CHAUVET Controlling the SM-150X 1. FC-4HS Timer remote - Plug the controller into the back of the SM-150X and press the red button tocontinually generating snow. Press the yellow button to activate the timer functions. Adjust the duration and interval knobs to achieve the desired effect. The unit will cycle regularly to the settings. Depress the yellowbutton again to exit time mode. To use the FC-4HS manually, simply depress and hold the green button togenerate the desired amount of snow. 2. DMX Mode - The SM-150X is a one channel unit that controls the volume of snow generated. To operatein DMX mode, you must link the units together using a premium quality 3-pin DMX cable in the following configuration. 'Out' from the first unit to 'In' on the second, 'Out' from the second to 'In' on the third and soon. Please consult the controller manual to determine the proper address for the units.
