Unless changed, factory default for TV2 is channel 60. Refer to the "How to Watch TV on TV2" section in this guide for correct channel setup or use the RECOVER button. Your satellite receiver is in "Single Mode" and "Shared View" is disabled. To watch what TV1 is watching, simply enable the Shared View option. To watch a program on TV2 that is different than what is being viewed on TV1, press the MODE button on the front of the satellite receiver to put it in Dual Mode. See your User's Guide for Shared View options. • Try pressing the SAT Mode button. • Check to make sure you are using the correct remote (TV1 or TV2) for the desired location. • Your remote control batteries may need to be replaced (alkaline batteries are recommended). • Check the remote address (see User's Guide). You may have a neighbor that also has a UHF remote that is controlling your receiver. Simply change your remote control address. See your User's Guide for instructions. • Look for obstructions in front of your satellite dish such as new tree or plant growth. • If you are still experiencing signal interruptions, contact Technical Assistance. Press the SYSTEM INFO button on the front of your receiver and call the Technical Assistance phone number shown on the screen. The oldest, unprotected recordings will be replaced with new recordings when there is no more room on the receiver. To avoid losing a recorded event, use the Protect option when you set up the recording or when you select it from the My Recordings screen. Tip: To ensure your receiver has the latest program guide information and the latest software updates, press the POWER button on both remote controls to turn your receiver off when not in use. Tip: To watch the same program on both TV1 and 7V2, place your receiver In Single Mode. To watch different programs on TV1 and TV2, place your twelver In Dual Mode. Use the MODE button on the front panel of the receiver to toggle between Dual and Single mode. Tip: Some receiver problems can be resolved by pressing and holding the POWER button on the front of the receiver until the front panel lights go out and come back on. After releasing the POWER button, the receiver should return to normal opera i/on within a few minutes.
