For all types of fabrics. Cold (adjustable to 10 minutes) Additional function Press the Low Heat button for temperature Low Heat button sensitive fabrics (e.g. acrylics). Observe the fabric care instructions . The temperature is reduced and the drying time increased. The function remains active until the button i is pressed again. The buzzer is switched off by pressing the button. Buzzer button Timer program- ming function The programme can be set to start up to 19 hours later. Set the timer as follows: 1. Select the programme you require using the programme selector. 2. Press the Start in button. 0h flashes in the display. The display flashes until you press Start or i you turn the programme selector to Off. 3. Press Start in repeatedly until the value you require is displayed. 4. Press the Start button to save the time and to start counting down. The time you have selected counts down. The dot flashes in the display. The time counts down in increments of 1 hour. The door may be opened at any time. This does not affect the delay selected. The display flashes. The programme continues when you close the door and press the Start button. The delay may be cleared or changed at any time. 1. Turn programme selector to Off (cancels the timer programming). 2. Select the programme you require using the programme selector. 3. Press the Start button and set a new time if necessary (see above). Cleaning and care Cleaning ! Risk of explosion the dryer There is a risk of explosion from solvents. Never use solvents for cleaning. The dryer may be damaged if it is not cleaned correctly. Do not spray the dryer with a water jet. Do not use abrasive agents or general-purpose cleaners. ..• Clean the housing and the control panel with a mild detergent and a soft cloth. Clean the fluff filter after each drying cycle. Fluff filter Bobbling (fluff) occurs when fabrics become worn. These bobbles come off during the drying cycle and collect in the fluff filter. A clogged filter results in longer drying times and higher energy consumption. 1. Open the door. 2. Pull the filter out towards the top. 3. Remove the fluff (by drawing your hand across the filter). 4. Replace the filter (it can only be inserted one way round). 5. Close the door. Changing the light bulb ! Risk of electrical shock! Before replacing the bulb disconnect the plug from the socket or switch Off the fuse/circuit breaker. ! Never operate the tumble dryer without the light cover! .. Open the door. .. Remove the bulb cover. .. Replace the bulb. ! Max. permissible power is 10 W! .. Put the cover back over the bulb. ! Risk of short circuit! Cover and gasket must rest tightly in bearing to prevent ingress of moisture. Troubleshooting... Troubleshooting... Cause Solution The On indicator lamp does not light The dryer is not plugged in. Plug in the dryer. up. No drying programme has been set. Select the programme you require using the programme selector. The circuit breaker has tripped. Reset/replace the fuse. The dryer does not start. Start button has not been pressed. Press the button. No drying programme has been set. Select the programme you require using the programme selector. The door is not shut. Close the door. The ambient temperature is below 5 °C. Warm up the room. The humidity in the room has increased significantly. The room is not sufficiently ventilated. Ensure sufficient ventilation. The door opens by itself. The locking pin is not engaged. Push the door closed until you hear the locking pin click into place. Drying is not satisfactory or the drying time is too long. The filter is blocked. Clean the filter (page 19). Troubleshooting... . Cause Solution Drying is not satisfactory Ambient temperature is above 30 °C. Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation.
