IMPORTANT The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code; Blue - Neutral Brown - Live As the colours in the mains lead of this FUSE BLUE ^ ^BROWN (Neutral) (Live) appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows: The wire which is coloured blue or black must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured Black. The wire which is coloured brown or red must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured Red. No connection is to be made to the Earth terminal of the plug. if a 13 Amp (BS1363) Plug is used, fit an ASTA approved 3, 5, or 13 Amp fuse as required. If your product is fitted with a moulded plug which requires replacement please cut off and dispose of safely, then rewire as shown above.
