Facilidade de uso

If the ignition sparkers are dirty, this makes the burner harder to light, so you should keep them as clean as possible. Clean them using a small brush, and remember that the ignition sparkers must be treated very gently. If your cooking hob is not fitted with this automatic lighting feature, use a lighter or a match to light the burner. Your hob may be fitted with safety thermocouples which prevent gas from being released if the burners are accidentally turned off. Fig. 2. To turn on and activate this innovative system, proceed in the same way, but keep the control pressed down until it comes on, with the flame appearing and staying lit. If the burner does not light, repeat the procedure but this time hold the knob pressed in for 1-5 seconds. To turn it off, turn the control to the right to the position 0. When doing this, the ignition system may work again - this is completely normal. The modern functional cooking hob you have purchased has progressive taps fitted which allow you to adj ust the flame to the desired heat. The large double flame burner is highly practical and suitable for cooking with paella pans, woks, etc. If your hob has a large double flame burner, it will have a tap fitting that will enable you to control the inner and outer flames separately. This revolutionary system allows you to choose from a wide range of powers. Operating description Fig. 3. When you are using this gas appliance, it will make the kitchen hot and humid, and therefore you must ensure that the kitchen is well ventilated. Keep all the natural sources of ventilation open, or install a mechanical ventilation device (such as an extractor fan). If your appliance is in continual use, you may require supplementary ventilation, such as an open window (while avoiding draughts) or you may need to increase the power of any mechanical system. When being used for the first few times, it may produce a slight smell. An orange-coloured flame is normal and it is produced in the presence of dust in the atmosphere, spillages, etc. Recommended receptacle diameters (cm.) diameters (cm.) Depending on model: Burner Minimum receptacle Maximum receptacle Large double _ >22 cm flame burner: Rapid: 22 cm 26 cm Semi-rapid: 14 cm 20 cm Auxiliary: 12 cm 14 cm Parts assembly Double-flame burner Fig. 4 Fig. 4 Fig. 5 Additional pan support Depending on the model, your appliance may come with an indispensable extra - a pan support for the large double flame burner, for pans that are larger than 26 cm in diameter, roasting dishes, earthenware pots, and all types of concave pans (woks, etc.), Fig. 4. Due to the high temperatures attained by these supplementary pan supports while cooking, be careful if you need to adjust them - there is a risk of burning. If you do not have this pan support, then it is available from your Service Centre, code 494664. Pan support for coffee pot: Depending on the model, your appliance may come with a supplementary coffee pot support, intended purely for use with the auxiliary burner and pans whose diameter is less than 10 cm. Fig. 5. If you do not have this pan support, then it is available from your Service Centre, code 423529. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility if these additional pan supports are not used or are used incorrectly. The flame should not touch the sides of receptacles. Do not cook without lids or with lids only partially covering receptacles. You are wasting energy. Do not use receptacles with uneven bases. They lengthen cooking times and increase energy consumption. Do not place a receptacle on one side of a burner, as it could tip over. Do not use large-diameter receptacles on the burners nearest to the control knobs, as the flames might reach them, making them so hot that they could cause injury. Never place receptacles directly on top of the burners. DOs Always use suitably sized receptacles on each burner. This helps avoid excessive gas consumption and prevents receptacles from getting tarnished. Always use lids. Only use thick-,flat-based saucepans, frying pans and casseroles. Always place receptacles in the middle of burners. Always place receptacle on the pans support. Make sure that the metal grids and the tops of the burners are correctly positioned before using them. Handle receptacles on the hob with care...
